Testimonials

We stayed at Rivendell Twelve with two families, four adults and five children. The house is fabulous. The kitchen is well equipped. We mainly went out for lunch to the various wineries, in the immediate vicinity. The children preferred the beaches - Moses Rock and Smith Beach are both a 10 minute drive away. We even went fishing and caught a couple of herrings (not that tasty, but great fun). Dunsborough is only a 15 minutes drive away. The house has got a homely feel, beautiful wooden flooring and warm coloured rammed earth walls. The fire place gives the house a rural and atmospheric feel. The master has a bath big enough for two adults, or four children!- Mette Lowe, Copenhagen, Denmark
I stayed at this magnificent property for my 40th Birthday with 6 close friends and it was perfect! Expectations were definitely exceeded. The house is amazing. Great views, drinks on the balcony overlooking the vineyard. Close to both Yallingup and Dunsborough. Exceptionally well appointed bathrooms and bedrooms to die for, all very new. We were all very impressed and will return. We think it would be great for families and kids too.

I live in the USA and work in the Middle East and have family scattered all over the globe. My daughter studies in Perth and I get to see her once a year, so our time together is very precious. We stayed at Rivendell Heights. There were 3 adults total, staying in this fabulously appointed house. My daughter and I share a passion in cooking and the kitchen was very well equipped to meet our culinary requirements, with the added benefit of stunning views. The surrounding areas were wonderful to explore and excellent wines and vineyard meals are to be had in the region.

The accommodation has been very tastefully decorated and leaves one with a rather holistic feeling. It so compliments the rammed earth and local timber construction.

After one busy day we went to the Dunsborough supermarket and probably had the best steaks I have ever, barbecued on the terrace of Rivendell. Later in the evening when the temperature dropped we sat in the living room on the sofa with the fireplace crackling in the back-round, sharing memories and enjoying the serenity of this wonderful property.

I shall return next year again as this is a magnificent getaway and my vote is highly recommended.
